Replacing the W10447783 Whirlpool Tub Bearing Press Tool Kit
DIY Instructions
Step 1: Unplug the power to the appliance before beginning any repairs.
Step 2: Locate the W10447783 bearing press tool kit and all of its components.
Step 3: Place the first bearing in the bearing press.
Step 4: Use the hammer to gently tap on the bearing until it is properly seated in the press tool.
Step 5: Place the second bearing in the bearing press.
Step 6: Use the hammer to gently tap on the bearing until it is properly seated in the press tool.
Step 7: Place the two halves of the bearing press together, making sure that the bearing’s drive threads have been secured.
Step 8: Secure the tool by tightening the screws.
Step 9: Make sure the bearings are firmly secured in the press tool before you begin using it.
Step 10: Slowly spin the bearing press tool on the broken bearings until the replacement bearings are in place.
Step 11: Remove the bearing press tool and the old bearings from the appliance.
