DIY Instructions for Replacing a Whirlpool W10416838 Cover Assembly
1. Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply to it.
2. Carefully open the dishwasher door, and remove the screws securing the top cover of the dishwasher. Keep the screws in a safe place.
3. Lift the top cover off, and gently pry off the old cover assembly with a flathead screwdriver.
4. Place the new cover assembly in place, ensuring all the tabs are lined up properly.
5. Secure the cover assembly in place with the screws you removed from the top cover.
6. Close the dishwasher door, and plug back in the power cord.
7. Turn the water supply back on, and run the dishwasher through a short cycle to check it is working correctly.
8. If everything is in working order, you have successfully replaced the Whirlpool W10416838Cover Assembly.
