Step 1: Gather Your Tools

Before you begin replacing your Frigidaire 5304520372 Capacitor, make sure you have all of the tools you need to do so. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, and wire cutters.

Step 2: Disconnect Power Supply

Before you begin any work on electrical appliances, it is important to disconnect the power supply. Make sure to unplug the appliance from the wall outlet before continuing.

Step 3: Identify the Capacitor

The Frigidaire 5304520372 Capacitor is typically located in the control panel on the side of the refrigerator. Once you have located the capacitor, use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding it in place.

Step 4: Remove Wires

Once the screws have been removed, use the needle-nose pliers to grasp and gently pull the wires that are attached to the capacitor. This should be done carefully, as not to damage the wires.

Step 5: Install New Capacitor

Once the old capacitor has been removed, take the new one and place it in the same location. Reattach the wires that were previously connected to the old capacitor, using the needle-nose pliers to do so. Secure the capacitor firmly with the screws, using the Phillips screwdriver.

Step 6: Turn On Power

Once all of the wiring is properly secured, turn the power back on to the appliance. Test to make sure everything is working properly.
