This Top Load Washer Timer controls the length of the different parts of the wash cycle such as filling, soaking, washing, spinning and rinsing. You'll have to remove the control panel to access the old timer, and disconnect it from its two wiring harnesses and plastic locking tab. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience.
