To access the part, remove the screws that hold on the front panel of the dryer, and then remove the screws that hold in the hinges of the dryer door. You'll remove the dryer door and the front panel from the dryer. Release the top panel and lean it back so you can remove the front panel assembly. The door latch lives behind the front panel assembly. Installing these parts will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
