1. Begin by unplugging the U-Line 80-54313-00 Drain Pan Heater from its power source.
2. Carefully remove the top of the Drain Pan Heater, taking care not to damage the heating element.
3. Locate the old heating element and disconnect it from the wiring harness.
4. Insert the new heating element into the wiring harness and securely fit it in place.
5. Re-install the top of the Drain Pan Heater, making sure all components fit snugly in place.
6. Plug in the Drain Pan Heater to its power source, and it is now ready to use.
