DIY Instructions to Replace the Samsung DG62-00059A BURNER-CUP(SR)
1. Prepare for the replacement by gathering all of the necessary supplies, including a new Samsung DG62-00059A BURNER-CUP(SR), a Phillips screwdriver, and a container or tray to store all of the old parts.
2. Make sure that your range is off and fully cooled before you begin to work on it.
3. Remove the grate covering the burner cup assembly by removing the Phillips screws that grip the top of the grate to the range. Depending on your model, you may need to remove additional screws securing the grate to the front of the range.
4. With the grate removed, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the burner cup in place. There will be two screws on either side of the burner cup.
5. Carefully lift the burner cup out of the range and set it aside.
6. Take the new Samsung DG62-00059A BURNER-CUP(SR) and align it with the holes where the old burner cup was.
7. Insert the screws back into place, using a Phillips screwdriver. Tighten the screws snugly.
8. Put the grate back in place and secure it to the range by replacing the screws you removed earlier.
9. Turn the range back on and test the new burner cup to ensure it’s working properly.
