DIY Instructions for Replacing the DE81-06192A Samsung Grill SVC-Flame Spreader Small
1. Turn off the power to the range before starting any repairs. Unplug the power plug from the wall or turn off the breaker in the service panel.
2. Open the range top and locate the flame spreader. It is a small metal disc that sits at the edge of the burner opening and shields it from being directly exposed to the flames.
3. Remove the flame spreader by unscrewing the screws that hold it into place. For most Samsung grills, this will require an 8mm socket wrench.
4. Take out the old flame spreader and compare it with the new DE81-06192A flame spreader to ensure it is the correct size and shape.
5. Install the new flame spreader by lining up the screw holes and then reinserting the screws. Use the 8mm socket wrench again to tighten them.
6. Turn the power back on to your range and test the flame spreader to make sure it is working properly.
7. Enjoy your newly repaired grill!
Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
