Replacing Samsung DE81-04797A SVC-VALVE SNGL ALUM NG
Materials
• Samsung DE81-04797A SVC-VALVE SNGL ALUM NG
• Flathead Screwdriver
• Crescent Wrench
• Pliers
Steps
1. Turn off the gas valve feeding the appliance and disconnect it from the gas line.
2. Remove the nuts that secure the SVC-Valve by using a flathead screwdriver and crescent wrench.
3. Discard the old SVC-Valve.
4. Install the replacement SVC-Valve aligning it with the same mounting holes on the appliance.
5. Secure the SVC-Valve using the same nuts and the screwdriver and crescent wrench.
6. Using the pliers, tighten the gas connection to the SVC-Valve.
7. Connect the gas supply line to the SVC-Valve and turn on the gas.
8. Check for any gas leaks.
9. If no gas leaks are found, turn on the appliance and check to see if it is functioning properly.
