1. Unplug your Samsung washer from the wall before beginning any repair.
2. Remove the screws attaching the back panel to the inside of the washer and set the panel aside.
3. Carefully slide out the drum assembly to access the pump and motor.
4. Locate the old DC97-16140G door boot diaphragm gasket assembly and remove it by gently pulling on both ends of the assembly.
5. Take note of which side of the gasket faces up and compare it to the new gasket.
6. Insert the new DC97-16140G door boot diaphragm gasket assembly, ensuring that it is seated properly and the opening for the hose is aligned correctly.
7. Secure the assembly with the included hardware and replace the back panel.
8. Plug the washer back in, give it a test run, and enjoy your newly repaired washer!
