Replacing the DC97-14486A Samsung Dryer Heater Heating Element Duct Assembly
1. Before you begin, unplug your dryer from the wall or turn off the power at the fuse box in order to ensure your safety while working on the dryer.
2. Remove the screws on the back panel of the dryer. Once all screws have been removed, the panel should come loose.
3. Locate the existing Duct Assembly and disconnect the wires from the terminals.
4. Carefully remove the existing Duct Assembly from the dryer.
5. Take the new Duct Assembly and align it with the holes in the back panel of the dryer.
6. Reattach the wires from the terminals to the new Duct Assembly.
7. Secure the new Duct Assembly with the original screws.
8. Replace the back panel of your dryer and secure it with the remaining screws.
9. Plug in the dryer or turn on the power at the fuse box.
10. Test the dryer to make sure the new Duct Assembly is properly installed.
