Step 1: Unplug the washer from the wall socket and shut off the water supply.
Step 2: Remove the agitator cap from the top of the washer. To do this, use a screwdriver to unscrew the four screws which hold the cap in place.
Step 3: Once the screws have been removed, lift the cap away from the washer and set it aside.
Step 4: Slide the new pulsator cap, DC66-00887B, into the opening in the top of the washer.
Step 5: Secure the new cap in place by screwing it into place with the same four screws that were used to remove the old pulsator cap.
Step 6: Replace the washer lid and turn the water supply back on. Finally, plug the washer back into the wall socket and test its function.
