1. Before beginning the replacement of the DC66-00470B Samsung Washer Shock Absorber Damper, gather the necessary tools, including a Phillips screwdriver, pliers, putty knife, and a pair of safety goggles.
2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, and turn off the water supply.
3. Remove the screws that secure the top panel of the washer by using the Phillips screwdriver.
4. Open the top panel and locate the shock absorber.
5. Use a pair of pliers to remove the old shock absorber and dampers.
6. Attach the new DC66-00470B Samsung Washer Shock Absorber Damper onto the washer using the included screws.
7. Secure the dampers in place using the putty knife.
8. Close the top panel and secure it with the screws.
9. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the water supply.
10. Test the new absorber and dampers for proper operation.
