DIY instructions to Replace the Samsung DA81-08091A SVC-Argon Gas Canister 34L
Step 1: Prepare for the replacement process. Make sure that you have all of the necessary tools and safety equipment with you, such as safety glasses, latex gloves, protective overalls, and a Phillips screwdriver. Ensure that you also turn off the appliance supply switch before beginning.
Step 2: Open up the fridge door and locate the old gas canister. This is usually located close to the light in the ceiling. Gently remove it by unscrewing the two Phillips screws that are holding the canister in place. Pull the old canister out, taking care not to damage any of the surrounding components.
Step 3: Take your new gas canister and make sure it fits snugly into the space. If there is an overlap, gently use a sharp tool to trim off the excess material. Place the new canister in and secure it with the two screws.
Step 4: Carefully check the connections between the gas canister and the gas supply lines. Make sure they are tight and secure to prevent any potential leakage.
Step 5: Turn on the appliance supply switch and check for any leaks by using soapy water. If none are present, your new gas canister has been successfully replaced.
Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
