1. Shutdown the power to the refrigerator.
2. Cut the power to the compressor by unplugging the electrical connections or switching off the breaker.
3. Release all pressure in the system with a fitting cap.
4. Drain any excess oil from the old compressor.
5. Carefully remove the old compressor and the mounting bracket.
6. Apply a blanket of mineral oil to the new Packard FF7.5HBK1 Compressor before installing.
7. Install the new Packard compressor using the mounting bracket and bolts.
8. Connect the electrical components properly and ensure that all connections are secure.
9. Attach the refrigerant lines to the compressor and secure them with clamps.
10. Evacuate the refrigerant system according to your system’s instructions.
11. Charge the system with fresh refrigerant and check for any leaks.
12. Turn on the power to the refrigerator and check if the compressor is running properly.
13. Monitor the system for proper performance and make adjustments as necessary.
