DIY: How to Replace the LG Dishwasher Lower Rack Holder (MEG64438801)
Tools Needed:
- Philips screwdriver
- Flat blade screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Disconnect power to the dishwasher.
2. Unscrew and remove the lower access panel.
3. Remove any screws holding the lower rack holder to the dishwasher frame.
4. With a flat blade screwdriver, gently pry the lower rack holder off the frame.
5. Insert the new MEG64438801 LG Dishwasher Lower Rack Holder and secure it in place with the screws you removed earlier.
6. Reattach the access panel and secure it with the screws.
7. Reconnect power to the dishwasher.
8. Test the dishwasher by running a cycle and visually inspect to ensure it is installed properly.
