1. Unplug your washer and turn off the water supply to the washer before beginning repairs.
2. Pull the washer away from the wall, and remove the back panel of the LG Washer.
3. Find and disconnect the electrical connectors connected to the boot gasket seal and the water inlet hoses.
4. Carefully remove the door boot and inspect it for any visible signs of damage or wear.
5. Install the new MDS47123602 LG Washer Door Boot Gasket Seal and secure it in place with a few screws.
6. Reconnect the two electrical connectors and secure the water inlet hoses.
7. Replace the back panel and secure it with a few screws.
