Replacing the EBR78643401 LG Refrigerator Main Electronic Control Board Kit Assembly
1. Locate your LG refrigerator’s model number. Open the refrigerator door and look for the label on the inner side of the door or on the door jamb.
2. Purchase the EBR78643401 main electronic control board kit assembly for the corresponding model number of your LG refrigerator.
3. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source before starting the repair.
4. Open the back panel of the refrigerator and find the main electronic control board. Remove any components, including screws and wires, connected to it.
5. Take out the old control board and replace it with the new one. Make sure all connections are secure and correctly placed.
6. Re-connect any components that have been unplugged.
7. Re-install the back panel and plug the refrigerator back into the power source.
8. Press the reset button located near the motor compartment and let the refrigerator cool down before you put back the shelves and food items.
