DIY Steps to Replace the LG COV30330403 Air Conditioner Drain Hose
1. Unplug the air conditioner from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the front panel from the air conditioner, usually located in the ceiling.
3. Locate the existing drain hose and clamp.
4. Loosen the clamp with a screwdriver and slide it off the hose and remove it.
5. Choose an appropriately sized drain hose with a clamp that fits the existing drain opening of the air conditioner.
6. Slide the new drain hose over the existing drain opening of the air conditioner.
7. Secure the new drain hose to the air conditioner using the clamp.
8. Tighten the clamp until secure but be careful not to over-tighten.
9. Plug the air conditioner back into the wall outlet.
10. Turn the air conditioner on and test for proper drainage.
11. If everything is working properly, replace the front panel to the air conditioner.
