Replacing the AJU73213301 LG Washer Water Inlet Fill Valve Assembly
1. Unplug your washer from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply to the washer. Turn off the valves located at the back of the washer.
2. Locate the two screws that secure the top cover of the washer and remove them. Carefully remove the top cover, making sure to not break any of the plastic tabs.
3. Remove the hoses connected to the water inlet fill valve assembly. We recommend having a rag or towel handy to catch any leftover water.
4. Removing any screws that are securing the water inlet fill valve assembly to the washer’s frame.
5. Take out the assembly and discard it.
6. Insert the new AJU73213301 LG Washer Water Inlet Fill Valve Assembly into the space left by the old one. Secure in place by reinstalling the screws.
7. Reattach the hoses to the new water inlet fill valve assembly.
8. Replace the top cover of the washer and tighten the two screws.
9. Turn on the water supply valves and plug the washer back into the wall outlet.
