Replacing the ADD73656078 LG Refrigerator Door Foam Assembly
1. Before beginning, turn off the power to the refrigerator. Unplug the power cord for added safety.
2. Remove the interior shelves, drawers and any other removable components from the refrigerator. This will allow you easier access to the door foam assembly.
3. Once all removable components have been removed, unscrew the screws holding the door seal frame in place.
4. Pull the door seal frame away from the refrigerator door, being careful not to damage the seal or plastic trim in the process.
5. Pry off the old foam seal from the door seal frame with a flathead screwdriver. Some adhesive residue may remain on the door seal frame, which should be cleaned off to ensure a secure fit for the new foam seal.
6. Take the new ADD73656078 LG refrigerator door foam seal and carefully position it onto the door seal frame. Make sure the foam seal is level and properly fitted in the frame before proceeding.
7. Secure the new foam seal to the door seal frame with the screws that were removed.
8. Reinstall the door seal frame onto the refrigerator door and secure with the screws that were removed.
9. Plug the power cord back in and then turn the power back on.
10. Replace the interior shelves, drawers and any other removed components back into the refrigerator.
