Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator.
Step 2: Locate the temperature sensor controller assembly at the back of the freezer.
Step 3: Unscrew the two (2) screws that are holding the temperature controller in place with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 4: Carefully pull out the temperature controller from the freezer and unplug the two (2) wiring harnesses from the back of the sensor.
Step 5: Gently remove the old temperature controller from the wiring harnesses and discard it appropriately.
Step 6: Take the new temperature controller assembly, model number 6615JB2005N, and connect it to the two (2) wiring harnesses.
Step 7: Place the new temperature controller assembly into the freezer and screw it in place with the Phillips screwdriver.
Step 8: Plug your refrigerator back into the wall to turn it on.
Step 9: Test the temperature inside the freezer to ensure that the new temperature controller assembly is functioning properly. If not, consult the owner’s manual or contact a certified technician for further assistance.
