Replacing the 6501EA1001R LG Washer Water Level Pressure Sensor Switch
Step 1: Unplug the washer – Before starting any repair, make sure to unplug your washer from the power supply.
Step 2: Remove the front panel – Slide the front panel back and lift it off the machine.
Step 3: Locate the pressure sensor switch – The pressure sensor switch will be situated near the water inlet valve at the rear of the washer.
Step 4: Disconnect the hoses – Disconnect the two hoses connected to the pressure sensor switch and detach the hose clamp.
Step 5: Remove the old pressure sensor switch – Unscrew the retaining bolts or screws that hold the pressure sensor switch in place and carefully remove it.
Step 6: Install the new pressure sensor switch – Place the new pressure sensor switch in the correct location and secure it in place with the retaining bolts.
Step 7: Connect the hoses – Attach the two hoses to the pressure sensor switch and tighten the hose clamp.
Step 8: Reattach the front panel – Slide the front panel back in place and secure it.
Step 9: Plug in the washer – Plug the washer back in and test the new pressure sensor switch.
