Replacing the 4738ER1002A LG Washer Drain Bellow Hose
If your LG front-loading washing machine is leaking water, you may need to replace the drain bellow hose. Replacing the drain bellow hose is a fairly simple task and can be done in a few easy steps.
Materials Needed:
• Pliers
• Cloth
• New LG replacement drain bellow hose (4738ER1002A)
Instructions:
1. Unplug the LG washer from the wall outlet.
2. Turn off the washer’s water supply by turning off the valves.
3. Put a cloth over the bottom of the washer to prevent any parts from dropping onto the floor.
4. Using pliers, remove the old drain bellow hose.
5. Take out and dispose of the old drain bellow hose.
6. Insert the new drain bellow hose into the washer’s housing.
7. Secure the bellow hose with pliers.
8. Plug the washer back in and turn on the water supply.
9. Check for leaks and tighten the bellow hose if necessary.
10. Clean up any spilled water and dispose of the cloth.
