The Gas Dryer Igniter Kit is a flat-style igniter assembly that can be used to replace both a round or flat igniter in your appliance. The igniter lights the gas burner to hea ...t the appliance during the drying cycle. This kit includes (1) igniter assembly, (1) bracket, (2) wire nuts, (1) bolt and installation instructions. Note that the igniter is very fragile and must be handled with care. You'll remove the top and front panels of the dryer to access the part. If your range’s igniter is no longer providing a spark to light the burner, the wire may be shorted out or the porcelain casing may be cracked. Replacing the part may alleviate these issues.
