Replacing the 00-8148 Greenwald Industries Slide Return Spring

DIY Instructions

1. Unplug the power supply or disconnect the circuit breaker that supplies power to the Greenwald Industries appliance.

2. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface. Remove any debris or obstructions that may be near the side panel of the appliance where the 00-8148 Greenwald Industries Slide Return Spring is located.

3. Locate the 00-8148 Greenwald Industries Slide Return Spring in the upper left corner of the appliance. It may be marked with a sticker or other identifying marker.

4. Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, remove the spring from the bracket that holds it in place.

5. Insert the new spring into the bracket. Make sure it is securely attached and that the ends are even.

6. Turn the power back on and test the 00-8148 Greenwald Industries Slide Return Spring.

7. If it passes the test, the installation is complete.
