Step 1: Begin by unplugging the refrigerator from the wall power source.
Step 2: Remove the existing glass shelf. Pull the shelf toward you while grasping the outer edges and then lift upward to slide it off of the tracks in the fridge wall.
Step 3: Place the new shelf onto the tracks, making sure that it slides in evenly.
Step 4: If your refrigerator has a shelf support rail, then place the support rail into position above the shelf. Use a flat-head screwdriver to secure it into position.
Step 5: Once the support rail is in place, use a flat-head screwdriver to attach the screws to hold it in place.
Step 6: Plug your refrigerator back into the wall and turn it back on.
Step 7: Test the new shelf for stability. Push down on it gently to ensure that it is securely in place before replacing any food items on the shelf.
