DIY Instructions: How to Replace the GE WR14X30983 Door Gasket in Your Refrigerator
1. Unplug your refrigerator, and empty out all food and items from your fridge and freezer.
2. Open up the fresh food door, and locate the existing door gasket.
3. Using a screwdriver, carefully remove all screws that hold the existing door gasket in place.
4. Carefully remove the existing gasket, being careful not to damage any of the interior walls of the refrigerator.
5. Measure the inside of the door frame, and obtain a replacement door gasket (GE WR14X30983).
6. Place the new gasket into the door frame, using the holes and screws as guides. Make sure the gasket is tightly secured.
7. Plug in your refrigerator, and turn it on. Test the door to ensure a proper seal.
8. Place food and other items back into your refrigerator.
