1. Begin by turning off the power to the appliance in order to safely disconnect the existing wiring from the GE WJ01X24906 Install Kit.
2. Using a flathead screwdriver, loosen the screws securing the kit to the panel.
3. Carefully pull out the existing install kit, then take note of the location of all of the screws.
4. Unwrap the new install kit and examine the components included in the package.
5. Connect the new install kit to the appliance, then secure it with the screws identified from Step 3.
6. Reconnect the wiring from the appliance to the new kit, making sure that all connections are tight.
7. Turn on the power to the appliance and test the new install kit to ensure that it is functioning properly.
8. Take extra care when reassembling the appliance, paying close attention to any gaskets or seals that may need to be replaced.
9. Once all screws have been tightened and all wiring is secure, you can turn your appliance back on and begin using it with the new install kit.
