Step 1: Unplug washer from outlet and shut off water supply.
Step 2: Remove the top panel of the washer by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
Step 3: Locate the tub cover and mounting hardware (GE WH49X27616).
Step 4: Disconnect the old tub cover and hardware and remove them from the washer.
Step 5: Install the new tub cover and mounting hardware with the provided screws.
Step 6: Reconnect the water supply and plug the washer back into the outlet.
Step 7: Put the top panel back onto the washer and screw it into place.
Step 8: Test the washer to make sure everything is working properly.
