Step 1 - Unplug the washing machine from the power source.
Step 2 - Carefully remove the upper panel of the washer by unscrewing the two screws located at the top edge of the back panel.
Step 3 - Remove the lower front panel of the washer. This will expose the actuator lid.
Step 4 - Disconnect the wire harness from the actuator lid.
Step 5 - Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic cover from the actuator lid.
Step 6 - Remove the three screws that are holding the actuator lid in place.
Step 7 - Carefully remove the old actuator lid and replace it with the new one.
Step 8 - Secure the new actuator lid with the three screws.
Step 9 - Reattach the wire harness to the actuator lid.
Step 10 - Replace the plastic cover on the actuator lid.
Step 11 - Replace the lower and the upper panels of the washer.
Step 12 - Plug the washer back into the power source.
