DIY Instructions for Replacing the GE WH05X29514 Gasket
1. Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and turn off the gas supply at the main shut-off valve.
2. Remove the frame of the washer, exposing the inside.
3. Remove the old gasket by removing the retaining clips and carefully lifting it away from the drum.
4. Clean the drum surface with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
5. Install the new gasket by placing it around the drum and carefully pressing the retaining clips into place.
6. Reinstall the frame of the washer.
7. Turn the gas supply back on and plug the appliance in.
8. Test the washer and ensure proper operation.
