Replacing the GE WE03X25079 Top Bearing

Step 1: Unplug the dryer
Unplug the dryer to ensure that no electricity runs through it.

Step 2: Remove the old bearing
Remove the front panel of the dryer by unscrewing the screws on either side with a screwdriver. Unhook any wiring connections and remove the front panel completely. Locate the old bearing and use a putty knife to remove it from the grooves along the sides.

Step 3: Clean the surface
Clean the surface to remove all dirt and debris.

Step 4: Install the new bearing
Install the new GE WE03X25079 top bearing into the groves. Make sure it is secured and aligned properly before moving on to the next step.

Step 5: Reassemble the dryer
Reassemble the dryer by replacing the front panel and securely reattaching any wires. Make sure everything is tightly in place.

Step 6: Test the dryer
Plug in the dryer and test it out to make sure the new bearing is working correctly. If everything looks and sounds right, then the replacement is complete.
