DIY Instructions For Replacing the GE WD28X25803 Tiered Upper Rack to Flat Rack
1. Start by disconnecting the power source to your dishwasher. Also, turn off any water-supply lines feeding the dishwasher to ensure no water supply is connected to the appliance.
2. After this is done, open the dishwasher and remove all items stored inside.
3. Now, locate the two tabs outside the tiered upper Rack. Push these tabs downward, so the Rack is released from the dishwasher.
4. Remove the tiered Rack from the dishwasher and replace it with a flat rack.
5. Make sure that the flat Rack is firmly secured to the dishwasher.
6. Reconnect the power source and water-supply lines back to the dishwasher.
7. Secure all of the items in the flat Rack.
8. Close the dishwasher and turn the power back on.
9. Test out the new flat Rack by running a cycle of dishes in the dishwasher.
