Replacing a WD18X10051 GE Rear Feed Tube Adapter
1. Unplug the power on your GE dishwasher. In order to prevent accidentally turning the machine on while replacing the feed tube adapter, it is important to unplug it before starting the repair.
2. Pull the dishwasher away from the wall and open the door. This will allow you to access the rear of the dishwasher.
3. Locate the WD18X10051 GE Rear Feed Tube Adapter. The feed tube adapter will be located at the back of the dishwasher near the bottom.
4. Unscrew the screws that hold the feed tube adapter in place. Be sure to remove all of the screws from the dishwasher before attempting to remove the feed tube adapter.
5. Carefully pull the old feed tube adapter out.
6. Insert the new WD18X10051 GE Rear Feed Tube Adapter into the same location. Make sure to align the screw holes with the ones that were used for the old feed tube adapter.
7. Tighten the screws that are holding the feed tube adapter in place.
8. Push the dishwasher back into place against the wall.
9. Plug the power back into the dishwasher.
