Replacing the WD12X10244 GE Lower Spray Arm Support Base
1. Start by unplugging the dishwasher and shutting off the water supply.
2. Remove the lower rack to clear the access area to the lower spray arm.
3. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the top screws securing the spray arm support base.
4. Lift the spray arm up and out of the support base. This should allow you to access the lower spray arm support base below.
5. Remove the screws located at the support base to detach it from the dishwasher completely.
6. Take the new lower spray arm support base and line it up with the mounting holes. Make sure that it is aligned correctly before you secure it in place.
7. Secure the new base in place with the top screws that you removed earlier.
8. Replace the lower spray arm and secure it in place with the screws from the original support base.
9. Reattach the lower rack and plug the dishwasher back in. Turn the water supply back on.
10. Test the dishwasher to ensure the new lower spray arm support base is securely in place and functioning correctly.
