1. Start by disconnecting the power to your oven before beginning any repairs.
2. Remove the two screws located at the top of the control panel using a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Carefully remove the control panel and set aside.
4. Unscrew the four mounting screws from the GE WB56X26822 DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY BB using a Phillips head screwdriver.
5. Pull the old door handle assembly away from the oven door.
6. Position the new door handle assembly into place and attach it with the four screws removed earlier.
7. Reinstall the control panel, tightening the two screws with the Phillips head screwdriver.
8. Reconnect the power to the oven.
9. Test the new handle assembly to ensure proper functioning.
