DIY Instructions for Replacing a GE WB28X26625 Orifice SPUD
1. Before you start, make sure that you have the necessary tools and components to complete this replacement, including the new orifice spud (GE WB28X26625), a flathead screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.
2. Locate the existing orifice spud on your gas range. This will be connected to the gas valve burner.
3. Use the flathead screwdriver to loosen the screws that hold the orifice spud in place.
4. Carefully remove the old orifice spud, and discard it.
5. Take the new orifice spud, and connect it to the gas valve burner.
6. Secure the new orifice spud into place by tightening the screws with the flathead screwdriver.
7. Confirm that the new orifice spud is secure by testing the connection.
