1. Before beginning, make sure you turn off power to the oven at the circuit breaker and disconnect it from the wall.
2. Remove the four screws that secure the bottom of the oven beneath the drawer.
3. Carefully lift out the bottom panel and set aside.
4. You will see the fan motor on the right-hand side, next to the damper assembly.
5. Disconnect the three wires from the fan motor and unplug the damper assembly from the wall.
6. Remove the two screws securing the damper assembly to the oven.
7. Carefully remove the old damper assembly and set aside.
8. Install the new GE WB06X10565 DAMPER ASSEMBLY by connecting the three wires to the fan motor first, and then inserting the unit back into its mount.
9. Secure the new damper assembly to the oven with the two screws.
10. Reinstall the bottom panel, making sure to secure it with the four screws.
11. Reconnect the oven to the wall and turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
12. Test the new damper assembly by turning the oven on and off to make sure it is working properly.

12. Test the new damper assembly by turning the oven on and off to make sure it is working properly.
