1. Unplug the stove from the wall outlet to ensure that no electric current is flowing through when you start the repair process.
2. Remove the GE WB03T10271 KNOB INFINITE (SS) from its mounting base. This can usually be done by unscrewing it with a Phillips head screwdriver.
