Step 1: Gather the necessary replacement materials, including a new Broan S97021380 NON-DUCTED FILTER and a screwdriver. Make sure you have room to work, and any other recommended tools.

Step 2: Turn off the electricity to your oven by unplugging it from the wall socket. This includes shutting off any power supplies if your oven is connected to a central circuit.

Step 3: Disconnect the vent duct from the back of the oven. Depending on where the filter is located, this may include lifting up the bottom panel to access the rear of the oven.
