To access the part, remove the lint screen screws if necessary and then ... release the locking tabs on the dryer panel with a putty knife. Release the door switch wiring harness and then the screws that hold on the front panel to get to the dryer drum in order to remove it. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
