If your oven does not bake properly, check to see if there is ...a burned-out section of the element and replace if needed. Two locking tabs hold the oven bottom to the oven frame. To remove the oven bottom when accessing the old bake element, pull it forward first, then up and out. When removing the old element and disconnecting the wires, make sure you don't allow the wires to fall back into the oven wall.
