The door latch and handle assembly is installed at the top of the dishwasher door and keeps the door closed while the machine is running. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin.
