This Top Load Washer Rotor Position Sensor communicates the position of the tub’s rotor to the control board during the washing cycle. To access the part, tilt the washer back letting it rest on something to support it and tape the lid down. You'll need to remove the rotor and rotor stator at the bottom of the machine.
