Step 1: Turn off the breaker for the doorbell circuit in your home.
Step 2: Locate the existing doorbell and remove the mounting screws with a Phillips or slotted screwdriver.
Step 3: Carefully remove the old doorbell by unplugging the wiring and disconnecting the chime from the mounting bracket.
Step 4: Position the new Bosch 20000244 doorbell in the appropriate spot on the wall and use the mounting screws provided to secure it in place.
Step 5: Connect the wire coming from the wall to the terminal marked “Input” on the back of the new doorbell. Connect the other wire to the terminal marked “Output.”
Step 6: Secure the wires to the terminals using the included screws. Make sure the wires are firmly attached so they won’t come loose.
Step 7: Re-connect the chime and test the new doorbell to make sure it is working. The doorbell button should light up when pressed.
Step 8: Turn the power back on for the doorbell circuit.
