Step 1: Gather the tools needed to replace the Bosch 10011040 valve on your washing machine. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, an adjustable wrench, and some channel locks.
Step 2: Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, and shut off the water supply lines to the washing machine.
Step 3: Remove the front panel of the washing machine. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the panel in place.
Step 4: Locate the Bosch 10011040 valve on the backside of the washing machine. This is typically located near the bottom.
