1. Begin by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for the Bosch range.
2. Unplug the range or disconnect the power cord.
3. Remove the back panel of the stove to access the temperature sensor. This may require a screwdriver.
4. Using pliers, carefully detach the electrical connectors from the old temperature sensor.
5. Remove the mounting screws and pull out the old temperature sensor.
6. Insert the new 00642855 Bosch Stove Range Oven TEMPERATURE SENSOR in place and secure it with the mounting screws.
7. Plug back in the electrical connectors.
8. Replace the back panel and turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
9. Test the new temperature sensor for correct operation before using the oven.
