Replacing the 00611332 Bosch Dishwasher Drain Pump
Step 1: Unplug the power cord from the power source and shut off the water supply line to the dishwasher.
Step 2: Open the door to the dishwasher and empty it of all dishes and utensils.
Step 3: Remove the lower kick panel of the dishwasher. This can be done by taking out the screws located at the bottom of the dishwasher with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 4: Unscrew the retaining bracket that holds the dishwasher drain pump in place. This can typically be found in the center of the dishwasher.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness from the dishwasher drain pump.
Step 6: Pull the dishwasher drain pump out of the dishwasher.
Step 7: Insert the new dishwasher drain pump and make sure it is firmly in place.
Step 8: Connect the wiring harness to the new dishwasher drain pump.
Step 9: Screw the retaining bracket back into place.
Step 10: Reattach the lower kick panel to the dishwasher and screw the screws back in place.
Step 11: Turn the power supply and water supply back on.
Step 12: Test the new dishwasher drain pump for proper operation.
