Replacing the 00486902 Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau Microwave Range Vent Hood Aluminum Grease Filter
Tools Required:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Replacement filter (00486902)
Step 1: Unplug the microwave range vent hood from the wall socket.
Step 2: Carefully remove the filters from the hood. Some models may require a Phillips screwdriver to make this easier. Gently push the filter upward, and then set aside.
Step 3: Insert the replacement filter into the vent hood. Ensure that the filter is securely in place.
Step 4: Reattach the filter using the Phillips screwdriver, if necessary.
Step 5: Plug the vent hood back in, and turn it on.
Step 6: Check to make sure the filter is working properly. If there are any signs of reduced air flow, repeat the steps outlined above.
